In celebration of the University of Basra winning the Oscar for Higher Education and obtaining the gold medal for the project (rehabilitation of prisoners) sponsored by the College of Medicine Al-Zahraa and the silver medal for the Tamkeen project sponsored by the College of Arts, the two medals were decorated and handed over to the office of the president of the university, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi. It is reported that the University of Basra received the Gold Medal of the Oscar for Higher Education for a project taken care of by the College of Medicine al-Zahra with the support of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Complete their legal terms.
