The University of Basra distributes (56) houses for the accommodation of teachers

The University of Basra has started distributing (56) newly built houses for housing, according to the specifications of the apartments, to the beneficiaries of the teachers, located in the housing complex of the Bab Al-Zubair Colleges site. We needed to expand the residential homes of the Bab Al-Zubair complex in order to alleviate the housing crisis and create a correct environment for the teacher to practice his functional work in his home by carrying out research and following up on his educational lessons with his students via the Internet, where many teachers suffer from the narrowness of rented houses and the lack of a calm environment, and as you know, over the past three years, we have been suffering from the lack of investment budget allocations and their suspension, which resulted in the incomplete completion of many important projects at the university, including buildings, construction and expansions for colleges, a problem that most government departments suffer from in limiting federal budgets to salaries and operating expenses, and we have used our powers to create those roles with what we have.”
Shaheen added - Today, the administrative orders were given to allocate (56) homes to their beneficiaries, which took place according to the points and the same differentiation criteria for each college separately, which is the same set for distributing the previously built homes with a symbolic rent in order to maintain and maintain the services in the area, and there are other sites in The university will soon follow suit in expanding its residential role, including the housing complex affiliated to the Karma Ali Colleges site and the College of Education site located in Al-Qurna District.
