Dr. Raja’ Ahmed Mahmoud supervised a master’s thesis discussing at the College of Health and Medical Technologies on the association of antioxidant enzymatic activity and a biomarker of infertility in women with PCOS in Basra.

The study included: a case and control study during the period from October 2021 to July 2022, which was conducted in the Infertility and IVF Center at Basra Hospital for Women and Children in Basra Governorate, southern Iraq. The participants in this study were (90) married women, divided into three groups, including (60) sterile women, including (30) sterile women with PCOS, (30) sterile women without PCOS, and (30) women Able to conceive and have no clinical history of infertility, their ages range from (16 to 40) years
