
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, inspected Al-Zahraa College of Medicine at the University of Basra, and inaugurated the Skills Laboratory and its new classroom complex.
When he was briefed on the college and its eight scientific departments represented by surgery, internal medicine, anatomy, microbiology, physiology, biochemistry, family and community medicine, and pediatrics, he confirmed that the College of Al-Zahraa Medicine represents an important addition to medical education in Basra Governorate, especially as it adopts an integrative approach, which calls for concerted scientific efforts to develop Improving and upgrading its specialized programs in quantity and quality, absorbing scientific developments, and focusing on the student from the admission stage, through the process of education and clinical training, all the way to graduation and direct work, and paying attention to quality requirements through continuous improvement and development through a scientific approach that includes all specialized fields and provides a successful environment for teamwork.
While touring the corridors of the college and its branches, in the presence of the President of the University of Basra, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, a number of deputies, presidents of universities, the Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs and the Director General of Studies, Planning and Follow-up, he explained that Iraqi universities in general are witnessing a qualitative update in their programs and scientific plans to ensure that they keep pace with the variables responsible for enhancing the reputation Academic institution locally, regionally and globally.
