Under the patronage of the Honorable President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and with the guidance and support of the Honorable Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Al-Zahra, Professor Dr. Mazen Hawaz Abdel-Rida, the Members Careers Branch, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held a training course for employees for the period 10/24/2023 until 10/26/2023. In the medical physics laboratory by the teaching staff, the teacher Dr. Firas Muhammad Abdel Qader and the teacher Dr. Amer Qasim Mal Allah, where the course included management of the laboratory environment and the principles and methods of operation of the devices involved in practical experiments in accordance with the prescribed academic curriculum, including the installation of the devices and their use along with the theoretical foundations of measurement in each experiment. The course was also attended by teachers from various basic medical specialties, as it explained the basic concepts related to the principles of diagnosis and physiological functions. This comes out of the college’s keenness to implement all the requirements of the Iraqi standards for the quality of laboratories of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (second edition 2022) and paragraph (8/2 related to training and qualification).
