In reference to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the presidency of the esteemed University of Basra, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Al-Zahraa College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Mazen Hawaz Abdel-Rida, the respected Al-Zahraa College of Medicine began the official working hours for the students of the first stage 2023-2024 on Sunday, 11/19/2023, where the representative reception committee was held. Chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Abeer Lily Muhammad and the members, Lecturer Dr. Shant Antranik Hakobyan and Assistant Lecturer Ibrahim Iyad Jihad, a meeting was held with the students of the first stage, and after the welcome, an introductory lecture was given about the integrated integrated British college system and the distribution of lectures and small groups for the Al-Zahraa College of Medicine and what distinguishes it from the rest of the systems followed in education. During the lecture, Dr. Abeer Lily presented the most important laws of student discipline and the student’s rights and duties towards his educational career. He also presented the most important thing that distinguishes a university student, which is the commitment to attendance and perseverance in making an effort to reach the scientific sobriety of a holder of a medical degree. She also directed the commitment to uniforms and correct professional behavior to serve the community. We wish the teachers and students success in this great journey in creating a generation that serves our dear Iraq.
