The esteemed President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, and the supervision of the Dean of the Al-Zahraa College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Mazen Hawaz Abdul Qara, the respected Basra Chess Federation, held the international open championship for both genders for the year 2024, in cooperation with the Al-Zahraa College of Medicine and the Student Activities Department, from 4/25/2024 until 5/4/2024
The course is based on the Swiss Classic system of 9 60 minutes and an additional 30 seconds for each move
