The Community Health and Family Medicine Department at Al-Zahraa College of Medicine is one of the main scientific departments that aims to prepare and train future physicians with a comprehensive vision of health at an individual and society level at the same time, with special emphasis on environmental, occupational and the common health problems in Iraqi, middle east countries as well as globally.
Through teamwork with our dear students, our department seeks to develop students’ intellectual, behavioral and skill abilities to understand and comprehend these problems with the ability of disease prediction before they occur, then studying their epidemiology and methods of control.
And through teamwork with our dear students, the branch seeks to develop students’ intellectual, behavioral, and skill abilities to absorb these problems and the ability to predict diseases and their risks before they occur, and then study their epidemiology and methods of controlling them.
