 The precious Al-Zahraa College of Medicine is a distinguished young medical college that was established in 2017. It adopts an integrated student-centered learning curriculum.

The department of surgery as a distinguished branch of the college, work altogether with other college’s departments in integrated, interactive learning strategies to accurately achieve the mission, vision, and objectives of  Alzahraa college of medicine.

The department of surgery is designed to provide an environment for the students to be skilled in dealing with the surgical field of medicine via adopting promotional teaching programs including science, practice, and self-learning policy. The aim is to provide educational programs in all fields of clinical surgery and the anatomical and biological basis of surgical illnesses. This is gaining the department strength from the shared relationship with other clinical and basic science departments within the Alzahraa college of medicine.

All the members in the department are hardly working in a collaborative conjointly interactive policy to take the hand of the medical students to be eligible in providing the as highest as possible quality patient care to all people in my dear country through innovation, teamwork training, and research and proficiency of surgical health care.

Finally, may I ask our God, the most merciful to help and guide us to achieve the vision, mission, and objectives of the department and we ask our God to forgive any unwitting mistake or inattention.
