The department’s vision is summarized in providing students with the knowledge and theoretical foundations about gynecological diseases and complications of pregnancy, and to have good scientific expertise in this field, which qualifies them with confidence with various pathological conditions including the emergency cases in gynecology and obstetrics.

Providing society and health institutions with doctors capable of treating pregnancy cases and their complications and various gynecological diseases in a scientific and professional manner.

The goals :

• Providing the community with a group of brilliant doctors scientifically and professionally, for the purpose of advancing the health situation.

• Raising the level of scientific and practical skills of the teachers through participation in conferences and scientific and training courses inside and outside the country.

• Training and development of clinical and diagnostic skills for undergraduate students in gynecology.
