As part of the voluntary humanitarian initiatives, and in gratitude to her unlimited giving, the late Dr. Miami Kazim, a teaching staff and first-year students at the Al-Zahraa College of Medicine - University of Basra visited the Basra Children’s Hospital, in coordination and organization with the Guidance Unit.
A visit to the Children’s Specialized Cancer Hospital in Basra in order to inspect the children and provide them with gifts and toys in order to put a smile on the faces of children suffering from cancer. It is an attempt to provide moral support and make the children happy when they are in dire need of joy and happiness at this stage, especially since they are suffering from incurable diseases. The students contributed to creating an atmosphere of happiness inside the children’s halls by offering various games according to ages. This initiative was welcomed and praised by the children’s families and the hospital administration. I dedicate the reward for this work to the departed soul, asking God Almighty to grant the patients a speedy recovery.
