
Under the guidance of the Dean of Al-Zahraa College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Mazen Hawaaz Abdulredha, Al-Zahraa College of Medicine at the University of Basrah held a seminar on the requirements for academic accreditation. The seminar featured the participation of a select group of academicians and experts in medical education. The seminar aimed to familiarize the attendees with the latest standards and global practices that must be followed to achieve academic accreditation and ensure quality in medical education.
The seminar was presented by Associate Professor Dr. Hussein Kadhim Abdul-Sada, Associate Professor Dr. Abeer Layla, and Assistant Professor Dr. Zainab Khaled, with the presence of the heads of the accreditation committees.
The seminar began with an opening speech by the Dean of the College, who emphasized the importance of academic accreditation in improving the quality of education and ensuring the provision of medical education that aligns with international standards.
