Dr. Qutaiba Muslim Dawood, a faculty member from Al-Zahraa College of Medicine, delivered a lecture on "Ethics of the Teaching Profession" as part of the Teaching Methods course for the medical specialization.

In collaboration with Al-Zahraa College of Medicine, the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a lecture on the ethics of the teaching profession for the sixth unit of the updated Teaching Methods curriculum in the Southern Region's medical specialization.

The lecture aimed to explore unethical practices in teaching, and the responsibilities of educators towards their institution, colleagues, and students. Dr. Qutaiba Muslim Dawood's presentation at Al-Zahraa College of Medicine, University of Basra, defined the ethics of the teaching profession and the duties of educators.

Key topics included professional ethics in student evaluation, unethical methods conflicting with professional ethics, and the internal and external challenges of the teaching profession.

The conclusion emphasized the recommendation to uphold professional ethics in teaching towards educational institutions, supervisors, colleagues, and students, fostering an ideal atmosphere for education, growth, and development.
