Dr. Amani Nehme and Dr. Zainab Ahmed published a scientific research entitled

" Investigating the Relationship Between Lipid Markers and LDL Cholesterol: Insights from Robust and Ordinary Regression Analyses"

In the Hammurabi Journal of Medical Sciences, the research aims to understand how different lipid components interact, especially low-density lipoprotein (LDL), to effectively assess the risk of cardiovascular disease. This understanding can contribute to improving strategies for managing and preventing these diseases, which are the leading cause of death globally.

The results show the importance of understanding how metabolism affects heart risk. It suggests the need to include all metabolites in cardiovascular risk management. The study based the analytical approach used on the known and observed biology of fat metabolism, using Robust and Ordinary Regression Analyses. This dual analytical strategy highlights the importance of choosing methods to evaluate lipid profiles in research and clinical settings for cardiovascular risk assessment and management.
