Workshop on Implementing Case-Based Learning (CBL) in the Second Clinical Phase


Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Muhannad Jawad Kazem, and the supervision of the Dean of Al-Zahraa College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Jawad Ramadan Fadhil, Al-Zahraa College of Medicine, in coordination with the Center for Development and Continuing Education and in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the college, is organizing a workshop titled "Implementing Case-Based Learning (CBL) in the Second Clinical Phase."

Workshop Details

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in Hall No. (1) at the first complex of the University of Basra, starting at 10:00 AM. Dr. Rehab Abdul Wahab, a specialist in Pediatrics and Neonatology, will present comprehensive explanations on how to apply case-based learning in clinical phases.

The workshop will cover a range of key topics aimed at developing medical education skills and applying modern teaching methods:
1. Basics of Case-Based Learning (CBL):
   - Explanation of the concept of case-based learning and the importance of its application in the medical field.
2. Implementing CBL in the Second Clinical Phase:
   - Overview of methods for applying case-based learning in the second clinical phase and the challenges that may be encountered.
