Clinical Skills Assessment: Final OSCE Exam at Al-Zahraa College of Medicine

On Monday, May 26, 2025, Al-Zahraa College of Medicine hosted the final OSCE exam for the second semester of fifth-year students. The students were tested in several key subjects, including Pediatric Health, Reproductive Health, Perioperative Block, and Special Sense.

The OSCE exam is one of the most essential practical assessments designed to evaluate students' clinical and applied skills. The exam consists of multiple stations that simulate a real medical environment, requiring students to handle various medical cases, conduct clinical examinations, and make appropriate medical decisions, reflecting their readiness to enter practical training and real-world medical practice.

This exam emphasized practical aspects and communication skills with patients, alongside assessing diagnostic accuracy and decision-making speed. It also helped enhance students’ abilities in critical thinking and working under pressure, which are fundamental skills in the medical field.

The exam aligns with the college's ongoing efforts to ensure that its students receive the highest scientific and practical standards, contributing to the preparation of a generation of doctors capable of delivering high-quality healthcare services to the community.
