Al-Zahraa College of Medicine at Basra University begins its activities within the agricultural week.

Al-Zahraa College of Medicine has started its activities within the agricultural week and under the direct supervision of the respected Dean of the Al-Zahraa College of Medicine Dr. Mazen Hawaz, and the follow-up of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Haitham Hussein, through launching a campaign to rehabilitate, clean and afforest the college gardens. The campaign included raising harmful plants and preparing suitable spaces, then starting planting and afforestation of gardens with seedlings, rehabilitating the irrigation system, developing a plan for monitoring and permanence of green spaces, and continuing this approach in order to spread the culture of caring for green spaces and taking care of them and work to increase them.
