A lecturer at Basrah University / Al-Zahraa College of Medicine Dr. Majed Hamid published a scientific paper in Scopus entitled"An Unexpected Cause of Catastrophic Bleeding:A case report".Journal of Dubai Diabetes and Endocrinology, The aim of the research: To present a rare disease to a patient who suffered from severe bleeding after undergoing a plastic surgery due to severe hypothyroidism. The results showed: severe hypothyroidism is an important cause of bleeding and should be excluded in every case of bleeding.
