A committee from the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance headed by (Professor Asaad Rahman Saeed) and the membership of (Professor Abdul Karim Taher Yusr - Prof. Dr. Ammar Salman Dawood) visited Al-Zahra College of Medicine - University of Basra on Sunday 06-08-2023. The visit aimed to stand on the extent to which Al-Zahra College of Medicine is implementing the standards of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the quality of laboratories according to the second edition, whether in laboratories or at the level of administrative organization.

Where the visiting committee met in the office of the Dean of the College (Professor Mazen Hawaz Abdel-Reda) with the Assistant for Administrative Affairs (Professor Haitham Hussein Ali). Laboratories (Dr. Firas Muhammad Abdel Qader).

The members of the committee also made a tour that included getting acquainted with the content of each hall of the scientific laboratories, where the technical and administrative requirements that had been implemented were explained, and the committee made observations regarding the completion of all other requirements in preparation for the visit of the ministerial committee next September. This was followed by the committee checking the records prepared by the college according to the Iraqi standards guideline for the quality of the laboratories of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (second edition).
