Fix "Sorry!" page crash and other page load errors

If you see a "Sorry" error message or another error code instead of a webpage, Chrome is having problems loading. You may also notice that the page loads slowly or does not open at all.

To fix an error, try the suggestions below.

Reload the page
Usually, you can reload the page to fix the error.

At the top right of the page, click Reload Reload.

If that doesn't work...
Step 1: Check your internet connection
Make sure your computer is connected to a Wi-Fi or wired network.

Try reloading the tab where the error appears.

Step 2: Clear the cache
Chrome may have stored information that is preventing the page from loading.

Open the page in an incognito window
On your computer, open Chrome Browser.
At the top right, click More More and then a new incognito window.
In the incognito window, try opening the page. If it does, clear its cache and cookies.

At the top right of the page, click More, More tools, then Clear browsing data.
Next to "Date range," select All times.
Select images, cached files, cookies, and other website data. Deselect the other types of data.
Click on Clear data.
Try reloading the tab where the error appears.
Step 3: Close other tabs, extensions, and apps
Your device might be running out of memory, and you can't load the website while apps, extensions, and programs are also running.

You can empty the memory:
Close all tabs except for the tab that displays the error message.
Quit other running apps or programs, and pause any app or file downloads.
Uninstall unnecessary Chrome extensions. At the top right of the page, click More, More Tools, then Extensions. On extensions you don't use, click Remove.
Try reloading the tab where the error appears.
