The workshop was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 13 and 14, 2023. A workshop on “Building the Capacity of the National Residents Team” was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the National Council for Accreditation of Colleges of Medicine (NCAMC) within the campus of Sulaymaniyah University and the College of Medicine, where the Zahra College of Medicine was represented in University of Basra, all of the professors are Assistant Professor Dr. Jawad Ramadan Fadl, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Kati Abdel-Sada, and Assistant Professor Dr. Abeer.

The workshop was held under the supervision of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and with the assistance of the College of Medicine at Sulaymaniyah University and the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges. The workshop was attended by a large number of university professors.
The workshop aims to develop the capabilities of residents accredited to the council and to select new members to represent the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges in Iraq.
