This morning, the President of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, inaugurated a vital and main street linking the newly opened internal department and the College of Arts in Bab Al-Zubair Colleges Complex after expanding, paving, planting its approaches, and implementing night lighting operations.

The President of the University said, "The opening of this street will provide relief from traffic congestion, especially since it overlooks the back gate opposite the university neighborhood. Also, our furnishing of the street with sidewalks, rainwater drains, and landscaping will contribute to providing a healthy and safe environment for our student pedestrians. There are many projects that we will open soon related to increasing laboratories and classrooms in many of the university's colleges."
