Under the patronage of the Honorable Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abdul-Yaser Al-Aboudi , and under the supervision of the President of the University of Basrah, Professor Muhannad Jawad Kazem Al-Asadi , the University of Basrah is preparing to hold the central ceremony celebrating its 61st anniversary . This event reflects its rich history and pioneering role in the development of higher education in Iraq.

The ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 27, 2025 , at Imam Ali (A.S.) Hall in the College of Law, located in Bab Al-Zubair College Complex , at 9:00 AM .
