The chancellor of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen, and the Dean of Al-Zahraa College of Medicine , Prof. Dr. Mazen Hawaz, along with the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Haitham Hussein, visited the orphan house in Basrah. This visit comes within the periodic visits that Basrah University conducted as part of the humanitarian and social initiatives to closely examine the conditions of children and stand by them. The visit included a tour of the house and the presentation of some in-kind gifts and toys for the children.
