Prof.D. Hussein Kata Abd al-Sada, head of the microbiology department, as head of the expert committee for novel coronavirus research at Basrah University. The tasks of the committee will be to review requests for research on the Corona pandemic and ensure the safety of carrying out those research. The committee includes in addition to the head of the microbiology branch at the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Hussein Kate, membership of each of Prof. Firas Taha Mansour - College of Medicine and Prof. Hazem Thuwaini College of Veterinary Medicine.
